EXPERIENCE KATIE'S CURE
Where hope is restored one
Comfort Kit at a Time .
Katie's Cure is a nonprofit foundation that is dedicated to supporting those undergoing treatments for Cancer, by providing Comfort Kits . The comfort kits are filled with items the patient may need at treatment to help pass the time, and snacks. Each Kit has a blanket and hand sanitizer, chap-stick. Which are some of the items they request the most. We also make sure each kit has a little note book to write down the appointments / notes.
With each kit we handout we assure each of them we are here to support them and share in their battle to becoming cancer free.
Because We BELIEVE NO ONE SHOULD FIGHT ALONE !

HOW WE GOT STARTED AND A LITTLE ABOUT KATIE'S JOURNEY
Here at Katie's CURE, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for those fighting cancer.

Katie's Cure was founded after our loved one Katie was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma on March 2, 2018. Katie had always been the strong one in the family, but that day, her eyes were filled with tears and her spirit was broken, As she sat there telling us she had cancer.
The initial shock of it all rocked our family to the core. Like it does all families. Each of us made it clear that she would NOT FIGHT THIS ALONE. So as she started her chemo treatments, she had a sea of family sitting right beside, her as she received each and every one of her chemo cocktails. As the weeks passed we became known at Parkview Cancer Institute as " Katie and her Green Team". (as we all had lime green shirts made showing our support) Katie finished her Chemo treatments back in August 2018 , but soon had to start radiation. Yes, she was accompanied by her "Green Team" thought it all.
Unfortunately, in doing so, we soon realized not everyone that came through the doors has a "Green Team."
That is when we decided we needed to rise up and spread a little extra love around by providing Comfort Kits to patients that are undergoing treatments. Because WE Believe "NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!"
